Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that there is a conspiracy to oust Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This conspiracy has started under the leadership of BNP, the bad power of politics. They know that they cannot win the upcoming parliamentary elections. It is not possible for them to win with Sheikh Hasina. That is why they chose the path of conspiracy. He said these things after Awami League paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait at 32 Dhanmondi on Monday on the occasion of Mujibnagar Day.

Obaidul Quader said, on the Mujibnagar Day, on one hand, the commitment to build a smart Bangladesh, on the other hand, the bad forces that are creating obstacles in the way of development and prosperity, BNP, militant and communal bad forces must be resisted and defeated. This is today’s pledge to move forward in the construction of Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla.

Awami League general secretary said, despite so much bloodshed, our achievement is not zero. With expectation there is achievement. Bangabandhu’s underdeveloped Bangladesh, which has become a developing country under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina. Now our commitment is to build modern smart Bangladesh by 2040. There are also obstacles in this. There are also conspiracies on our way.

Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi number 32 by placing a wreath. Later, Awami League president Sheikh Hasina as the party chief, along with the party leaders, laid another round of wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait. Besides, on the occasion of the day, Awami League leaders and activists laid wreaths at the graves of Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed and M Mansoor Ali at Banani Cemetery and AHM Kamruzaman at Rajshahi.
