Doa and Iftar mahfil of Thst for Knowledge was held in Moulvibazar. This prayer and iftar mahfil was held at Uluwail Islamia Alim Madrasa of Ekatuna Union of Sadar Upazila yesterday on Sunday.

Before the iftar, a short discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of the president of the organization, journalist Baksi Michbah ur Rahman. General Secretary and Uluwail Islamia Alim Madrasah Principal Maulana Bashir Ahmed spoke as guests in the event, former treasurer of Srimangal Press Club journalist Syed Syed Ahmed, President of Uluwail Islamia Alim Madrasa Management Committee Baksi Kawshar Rashid, prominent expatriate community leader Sheikh Chalasat Miah, Ward No. 4 of Ekatuna Union. Member Md Ghiyas Mia, eminent social worker Shamim Ahmed, Jewel Ahmed, Md Chaiful Islam Juned and BNP leader Abu Bakr Talukder etc.
With the overall financial support and guidance of Baksi Mamunur Rahman, the founding chairman of Thrust for Knowledge, a national education and social service organization and prominent community leader living in America, Thrust for Knowledge has been focusing on the talent development of students at the district level for several years.
