725 students received CHTDP scholarships Bandarban is no longer behind in the field of education- Minister Bir Bahadur

Scholarships have been distributed among the meritorious students of hill districts in Bandarban.Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) was present as the chief guest at Arun Saraki Town Hall in Bandarban Last Tuesday (April 11).At that time,Minister Bir Bahadur said, Bandarban district education sector is no longer behind.Any institution or individual can take responsibility for our children.Atleast 2 students per year from an institution If given scholarship or Taken responsibility,I believe Many Briliant students will come up in the district. Minister Said,In the future,Bandarban district will become one of the most educated living districts in the country. Once there were two colleges in Bandarban district and now there are 14 colleges. Minister Bir Bahadur also said that,In Future the scholarship of meritorious students of hilly region will be increased More. In this regard,Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Executive Engineer Abubin Md.Yasir Arafat said,On behalf of the development board,303 students of college level 8 thousand taka and 422 students of university level have been given scholarships In Bandarban Distrist.A total of 63 lakh 41 thousand taka scholarships have been distributed to 725 students. Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Vice Chairman (Additional Secretary) Nurul Alam Chowdhury,Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Fazlur Rahman,Additional Superintendent of Police Md.Shah Alam were present as special guests in the ceremony.Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board Rangamati Unit Executive Engineer Tushit Chakma along with related officials, teachers, journalists were present in the event organized under the overall supervision of Chittagong Hill Development Board Bandarban Unit Executive Engineer Abu Bin Md.Yasir Arafat.
