A moving truck plowed into pedestrians in Migore, Kenya, Africa. At least 10 people were killed in this terrible accident. Another 10 people were injured. Aljazeera reported this news citing the local police.

The Kenyan city of Migori is basically bordered by the neighboring country of Tanzania. Local police said the accident happened on a highway in Migori town on Saturday.

When the driver lost control, the truck ran over pedestrians on the side of the road. At that time, the truck hit several motorcycles and taxis. The truck was twisted.

A senior Migori police official said several pedestrians were crushed under the truck in the accident. The rescue workers immediately started to rescue them.

According to the police, 10 pedestrians were killed by the truck. 10 others were seriously injured. The death toll is expected to rise.

Witnesses said the driver was honking repeatedly before running over the pedestrians. The cargo truck was on its way to the border town of Isabenia. After the accident, all the wheels of the truck fell on the road.

A video of the accident has gone viral on social media. It has been seen that the pedestrians are still buried under the truck. Meanwhile, the locals are looting sacks of rice spread on the road.
