Iftar has been distributed among 700 helpless fasting people by the initiative of the rabbis of Paschim Lalbagh village in Srimangal of Moulvibazar.

Iftar was distributed among 700 local needy people on the initiative of rabbis of Paschim Srimangal Lalbagh village of North Uttarsur on Thursday. Later Milad, Dua and Iftar were celebrated in the mosque with 400 more Muslims.

Chairman of Srimangal Sadar Union Parishad, Md. Dudu Miah, Organizing Secretary of Srimangal Upazila Jubo League and President of Manayulla Adarsh High School Parent Committee, Md. Abutaleb Badsha were present at the prayer meeting and iftar. Awami League leader Jasim Uddin, former Chhatra League leader Abu Towahid Akash, acting general secretary of Upazila Jubo League and Sadar Union No. 8 member Nurul Amin, Maulana Kari Md. Abdul Haque, Maulana Kari Md. Abdul Roop, Maulana Kari Md. Ahmad Ali and Hasu Mia. etc.
