Keeping the theme of preventing road accidents by obeying the traffic law, a special road meeting has been organized by the district police traffic department to ensure the safe and smooth return of homebound passengers on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Gaibandha District Superintendent of Police Kamal Hossain was present as the chief guest at the special campaign rally on Saturday (April 1) afternoon.

Among others, Palashbari Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj AKM Mokched Chowdhury Vidyut, Palashbari Municipal Mayor Public Leader Golam Sarwar Pradhan Biplab, Upazila Executive Officer Kamruzzaman Nayan, Upazila Awami League President Vice President Shamikul Islam Sarkar Lipon, General Secretary and Mahdipur UP Chairman Touhidul Islam were present. Mandal, Press Club General Secretary Sirajul Islam Ratan, Palashbari police station officer in charge Masud Rana, traffic inspector Noor Alam Siddique, Shah Alam, Mirza Zafarul Islam police station inspector investigation Dibakar Adhikari and others.

Meanwhile, District Superintendent of Police Kamal Hossain visited important places on the highway and distributed leaflets on public awareness.
