Apart from Habiganj city, the TomTom fare has not been increased anywhere in the district. In such a situation, the passengers of the city are in trouble. Meanwhile, Jatri Kalyan Parishad has strongly condemned the increase of fare of 10 taka in the city.

It is known that in 9 upazilas including Shaistaganj, Lakhai, Baniachang, Nabiganj, Chunarughat, Bahubal, till now the fare is 5 taka and direct fare is 10 taka. But a different picture was seen in Habiganj city. Here, some people are trying to make the rent of Uthanama 10 taka through syndicate.

Passengers, students said that if the fare is charged at 10 taka from April 1 without discussing with the district administrator and people from all levels, then unpleasant things will happen. Who will take responsibility?

Calling this decision of the TomTom owner unity council as unreasonable, people from all walks of the city have boycotted it.

The passengers demanded the concerned authorities to take immediate action in this regard.
