2 cases against journalist under digital law in Khulna

Khulna Cyber Tribunal. A case has been filed under the Digital Security Act against a Desh TV journalist named Asim.
On Tuesday (March 21), a woman named Tanya Islam filed the case accusing four people in the court of Kanika Biswas. PP advocate of the court MM Sajjad Ali confirmed the matter.
The other defendants in the case are residents of Khalishpur area of the city. Mahfuzur Rahman Khan, publisher and editor of First News. Sarwar Hossain Khan and managing editor of First News. Alam Khan In addition, on March 28, a woman named Sumaiya Kabir in the same court. Accused Asim filed another case under the Digital Security Act. The court ordered Khulna CID to investigate the case.
It is known that on March 18, a news was published on Desh TV with the title ‘Immoral work behind beauty parlour, parlor work at night at Rangmahal’. Objecting to this report, Tanya filed the case.
Journalist Md. Asim said two cases have been filed against Tania for revealing the news of her crime empire. Earlier another case was dismissed. One case after another is being filed against him. Currently the case is under threat.
PP Advocate MM Sajjad Ali said, Md. A case has been filed against a journalist named Asim in the Cyber Tribunal under the Digital Security Act. The court directed Khulna PBI to investigate the case.
