A youth was arrested with a stolen mobile phone and monitor from a mobile phone shop in a police raid in Kulaura, Moulvibazar.

On Thursday (March 30), Kulaura Thana police raided and arrested a youth named Kamrul Hasan (19) from Brahmanbazar of the upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Kulaura police station, Md. Abduch Chalek, said yesterday, March 29, at 3:00 p.m., thieves broke the lock of the shutter of “Ma Telecom” shop owned by Shahin Mia of Shipar Chowdhury Mansion Market in Brahmanbazar of the upazila and looted 13 mobile phones of different models, 1 computer monitor, 2,200 rupees in cash and goods worth lakhs of rupees. goes On receiving the information, a police team led by SI Mohammad Amir Uddin of Kulaura Police Station went to the field to recover the goods. After reviewing the CCTV footage of the nearby shop, the police identified Kamrul Hasan, who was involved in the incident, and arrested him.

According to the information of the arrested Kamrul, an Apo A53 mobile was recovered from the heap of garbage behind Brahmanbazar animal market. Later, the police recovered the rest of the stolen mobile phones and computer monitors from the arrested Kamrul’s house. Also, the police recovered the iron knife, hammer, iron cutting blade attached to wood and clothes used in the theft. In this incident, following the complaint of shop owner Shaheen Mia on Thursday, March 30, Kamrul Hasan was sent to jail through Moulvibazar learned court after filing Kulaura police case no-25, date: 30/03/2023 AD, section: 461/380 Penal Code 1860. .
