Illegal vehicles including monstrous tractors and trolleys are moving at reckless speed across Habiganj district. As a result of which accidents are happening constantly. Along with this, the roads have been broken and turned into ditches. Not only that, heart disease patients and children are unable to sleep due to the loud noise of these tractors and trolleys. Pedestrians and passengers are killed as a result of accidents with small vehicles. There are allegations that some dishonest traffic police are managing these illegal vehicles. In return, commission is given through monthly tokens.

A CNG tractor collided with a lightless tractor in the Shukri Bridge area of the Habiganj-Baniachong road yesterday on Saturday around 7 pm. Two brothers were killed on the spot.

The deceased are Moin Uddin (60), son of deceased Kalai Ulla of Thilapanja village, his brother Taj Uddin (35). At this time, CNGT is twisted. The other injured were rescued and admitted to Sadar Hospital.

It is known that they were returning home after performing funeral prayers of their relatives. After the accident, traffic was stopped in the area for an hour.

OC Ajay Chandra Dev said that the bodies were sent to the morgue for post-mortem after going to two Sadar hospitals.
