Prime Minister’s pledge to build golden Bangladesh on Independence Day

On the occasion of the 53rd Independence and National Day of Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina promised to build a poverty-hunger-free, smart and golden Bangladesh and wished the countrymen on Independence Day.
In a message on Independence Day, he said, ‘Bangladesh is moving forward on the highway of development. Let us be inspired by the ideals of the father of the nation and build a ‘Golden Bangladesh’ free from poverty and hunger. Bangladesh will be a smart country.
In the 51-second greeting message, the Prime Minister also said, ‘Assalamualaikum, I extend my sincere greetings to all Bangladeshi citizens at home and abroad on the occasion of Independence Day.’
On the Great Independence Day, he remembered the martyrs of the Great Liberation War with respect.
He said, “Through 23 years of political struggle and nine months of liberation war, we have achieved victory and got an independent and sovereign country under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”
The Prime Minister concluded his message by saying ‘Stay well, stay healthy’.
