Multiple US airstrikes on Iran-backed groups in eastern Syria have killed 11 people.

Qatar-based media Aljazeera reported this information.

The United States claims that they have carried out this attack against groups associated with Iran. 11 members of the group were killed in the attack.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin says that the airstrikes were carried out targeting the group’s facilities on the orders of President Joe Biden. No group will go unpunished for attacking our troops.

Earlier, the pro-Iranian group carried out drone attacks on US bases. A US contractor was killed and five US soldiers were injured in the attack. In response, the US military launched several airstrikes in eastern Syria.
