A human chain and protest march was held in Gaibandha demanding the arrest and execution of the killers of class 9 student Jisan.

On Wednesday (March 22) in the afternoon, schoolmates of Jisan’s school and Tulsighat area and several educational institutions in the area, students, teachers, parents and residents organized a human chain, protest march and protest rally by blocking the road in Tulsighat area of Gaibandha Palashbari road for about 2 hours.
During the speech, Hazra Begum, mother of Jisan, uncle Shajahan Akand, teachers Abdul Mandal, Zahid Hasan, Samim Mia, Rubel Mridha and other school and college students and local speakers demanded immediate arrest of Jisan’s killer and all those involved in the murder and immediate execution. .

It is to be noted that last Saturday (March 18) evening, the police recovered the bloody body of Jisan Mia from Paschim Durgapur village of Kuptala Union of Sadar Upazila. Jisan is the son of Zaidul Mia of Bishnapur village of Shahapara union of Sadar upazila. He is a 9th standard student of a local school.
