Constituent meeting and convening committee of Sujan at Srimangal

An exchange meeting on “Strong Local Government for Desired Development” was held at Srimangal. This exchange meeting was held at a local restaurant on Wednesday 21 March evening organized by Nagarik Srimangal Upazila branch for good governance.
Vice President of Sujan Srimangal Upazila branch under the chairmanship of freedom fighter Moazzem Hossain Chamroo and general secretary Md Kawshar Iqbal was present as the chief guest in the event, chief coordinator of Sujan National Committee Dilip Kumar Sarkar. Former Commander of Srimangal Upazila Freedom Fighters Command veteran Kumud Ranjan Dev, Manager Administration of Rashidpur Gas Field and prominent actor Md. Golam Rabbani, General Secretary of Sujan District Branch Jahar Lal Dutta, Sujan Regional Coordinator Md. Mozammel Haque were present as special guests. Assistant Professor and Writer Motakabbir Masud, Banker Sameeran Sarkar, Banker Chitta Ranjan Deb, Journalist Niharendu Hom Chowdhury Sajal, Journalist Ismail Mahmud, Executive President of Upazila Press Club Shamim Akhter Hossain, Journalist Anisul Islam Ashrafi, Teacher and Women Leader Rahima Begum, Social Workers and Cultural Organizer Ajit Baidya, banker Jitendra Chandra Dev, actor and social worker Nitesh Sutradhar, journalist Md. Saiful Islam etc.
In the 2nd phase of the ceremony, Sujan Srimangal branch president Moazzem Hossain Chamru presided over the organizational discussion meeting, National Committee chief coordinator Dilip Kumar Sarkar, Sujan district branch general secretary Zahar Lal Dutta, brave freedom fighter Kumud Ranjan Dev were present. In the discussion, it was decided to continue the further activities by forming the executive committee of the organization. For this purpose, after extensive discussion, a unanimous decision was made to make Moazzem Hossain Chamroo the convener, Md Kawshar Iqbal and Anisul Islam Ashrafi as joint conveners and Ismail Mahmud as the member secretary to form a convening committee with 11 members.
