On the occasion of Mujib Year,on March 22 Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will auspiciously inaugurate the house transfer program of the remaining houses of the 3rd phase and the designated houses of the 4th phase along with land to the beneficiary families through video conference.A press briefing held in Bandarban on this occasion.Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji briefed the journalist on Monday (March 20).It is said in the press release that Bandarban district administration is determined to implement Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s promise -“Not a single person of Bangladesh will remain homeless”. It was informed that 45 in Bandarban Sadar Upazila,40 in Lama Upazila,07 in Alikadam Upazila, 50 in Naikhongchari Upazila,116 in Ruma Upazila,120 in Rowangchari Upazila and 52 in Thanchi Upazila with a total of 430 Land and houses will be transferred to landless and homeless families.Among them,123 cm paka houses and 307 machang houses.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Saiful Islam,Senior Assistant Commissioner (R.D.C) Arup Ratan Singh, Press Club President Aminul Islam Baccu and print and electronic media journalists were present. Meanwhile,another press briefing was held at the Upazila Parishad hall.Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shjia Afroz,Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nargis Sultana,Sadar Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md Jahangir Hossain and various Union Parishad Chairman and various print and electronic media news workers were present at the press briefing. Sadar Upazila executive officer Shajia Afroz said that house keys will be handed over to landless and homeless families on March 22.Sh also said,this time in the 2022-23 financial year,in the 1st phase of the 4th phase,allocation has been given for the construction of 36 paka and 9 machang houses for 6 unions of Bandarban Sadar Upazila.whose activities have already been completed.
