148 more landless families of Srimangal are getting Mujibshat Barsha houses

148 more landless and homeless families of Srimangal Upazila are getting houses along with land gifted by the Prime Minister on the occasion of Mujib centenary. After the virtual inauguration of the Prime Minister, the upazila administration will hand over the land and house ownership to 148 landless and homeless families in Srimangal upazila.
Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun confirmed this information to reporters at a press conference at Srimangal Upazila Parishad Hall on Monday (March 20) at 4 pm. In a press conference organized by the upazila administration, it was informed that 148 houses will be handed over in the second phase of the fourth phase to the landless in Srimangal on March 22. Out of this, 108 houses in Srimangal Upazila’s Dhulu Rhama area, 24 houses in Jamburachra, 10 houses in Khalilpur and 6 houses in Tikaria area will be handed over to landless and homeless families. Earlier, houses were handed over to 650 families in the first, second, third and fourth phases. Assistant Commissioner (Land) Sandhip Talukder, brave freedom fighter Kumud Ranjan, brave freedom fighter Moazzem Hossain Chhamru Mia, Preclub president Biswajyoti Chowdhury, editor Imam Hossain Sohel and media workers working in various electronic and print media were present in the press conference.
