Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that some people will always oppose. And sometimes he will say something back-and-forth. Without listening to them, with self-confidence and self-respect, we have to think whether we are doing the right thing for the welfare of our country or whether we are on the right path or not.

He said these things while addressing the chief guest at a function organized on the occasion of RAB’s 19th founding anniversary at the headquarters of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Kurmitola of the capital on Sunday morning. Khabar bus

The prime minister directed the law enforcement agencies, especially the RAB, to be vigilant in ensuring that no one can stockpile food and adulterate food before the month of Ramadan. He also directed the law enforcement agencies to be vigilant in eradicating drug abuse, juvenile gang culture and cyber crime from the society.

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We have to move forward as a developing country. We will start our journey as a developing country in 2026. We are preparing from now. Peace and security of the country is necessary for that preparation. The country needs development and in that case peace, security and stability must be maintained.’

Appreciating RAB’s activities in fighting terrorism, militancy and piracy in Sundarbans, the most important place of Bangladesh, he expressed hope that this force will play its role like in the past with due responsibility, effectiveness and proactivity to maintain peace and stability.

The Prime Minister said that Bangladesh today is a changed Bangladesh because her government managed to continue the progress of the country despite facing various disasters including fire terrorism during its continuous power from 2009 to 2023. So he advised everyone to keep that in mind.

The Prime Minister said, ‘I firmly believe that Elite Force RAB is a symbol of security and trust for every peace-loving citizen of this country today. I believe that the members of this force will play a responsible, effective and active role in the future to provide security to the people and resources, inspired by the main mantra ‘Bangladesh Amar Ahankar’ and inspired by the spirit of the liberation war.’

Referring to the implementation of the announcement made by her government to build a digital Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina said that her government has formulated vision plans based on what Bangladesh will look like in 2041 and is implementing the five-year plans.

He said, ‘We will build a smart population, a smart economy will be a smart Bangladesh. Our goal is to implement that Smart Bangladesh 2041. Besides, his government is giving ‘Delta Plan-2100’ for how the future of Bangladesh will develop. The biggest thing is that peace and order is absolutely necessary to implement it.

The Prime Minister said, ‘If we move forward with self-respect, surely no one can stop Bangladesh moving forward at this unstoppable speed. We will build Bangladesh as the golden Bangladesh of the father of the nation’s dream.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and RAB Director General (DG) M Khurshid Hossain spoke on the occasion.

Major General (Retd.) Tariq Ahmed Siddique, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Security Affairs, Senior Secretary of the Public Security Department. Aminul Islam Khan and Inspector General of Police (IGP). Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun was present on stage.
