Maulvibazar Srimangal upazila administration organized and participated in a special discussion meeting organized by the students in cake cutting, discussion meeting and cultural events organized on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 103rd birthday and National Children’s Day.

Devjit Dutta, a ninth grade student of St. Martha’s High School, was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting among the students under the chairmanship of Mrigank Banik, a grade 10 student of Srimangal Victoria High School, organized at the Upazila Parishad premises at 10 am on Friday. Ajanta Devi Sandhi, student of 9th standard of Srimangal Balika High School, Asaduzzaman Shihab, student of 6th standard of Victoria High School were present as special guests.

Khairunechcha Chowdhury Anika, an eighth grade student of Srimangal Girls’ High School gave the welcome speech. The speakers discussed the biography of the Father of the Nation. In the discussion meeting, students are arranged among themselves as President, Chief Guest, Chief Speaker, Special Guest and Moderator. Member of Parliament of Moulvibazar-4 Constituency present at the ceremony. Md. Abdus Shahid, Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy, Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun and all the invited guests and visitors were impressed by the special discussion meeting organized by the students.
