Naikhongchhari Upazila Awami League’s triennial conference has announced the new committee. Upazila Parishad Chairman Prof. Mohammad Shafiullah has been made President and Bandarban Zilla Parishad Member Canwan as General Secretary in the committee. The district committee leaders approved this committee on Saturday. Earlier, District Awami League General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Mohammad Islam Bebi inaugurated the Triennial Conference of Upazila Awami League which was held on the ground of Girls Government High School on Saturday morning. Upazila Awami League President and Upazila Chairman Professor Mohammad Shafiullah presided over it. General Secretary Md Imran moderated. Bandarban District Awami League President and District Council Chairman Kyaw Shwe Hla spoke as the chief guest. Bandarban District Council Member and District Awami League Joint Secretary Mozammel Haque Bahadur, Bandarban District Organizing Secretary Chowdhury Prakash Barua, District Awami League Member Mohiuddin, Upazila Awami League Vice President, District Awami League Member Abu Taher, Upazila Awami League Vice President and District Awami League Member Taslim Iqbal. Chowdhury delivered the special guest speech.
