On Thursday (March 16) at 12 noon at Manipuri Lalitkala Academy in Kamalganj, Sylhet’s divisional commissioner Dr. Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain.

Kamalganj Upazila Executive Officer Sifat Uddin was the special guest at the opening ceremony under the chairmanship of Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan and Ecdo Executive Director Laxmikant Singh. In the Chief Guest’s speech, the Divisional Commissioner said that the people of this country have given their lives for their mother tongue. Which is a rare event in the history of the world. Therefore, the government has taken initiatives to ensure primary education in the languages of every ethnic group in the country. He thanked Kamalganj upazila administration and partner organization Ekdo for taking such an important initiative and wished success to this initiative. In the president’s speech, Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan said that Kamalganj is an upazila full of different ethnic groups. Therefore, more such initiatives need to be taken for the development of these ethnic groups. Later, Kakbarak language books and other educational materials were distributed to the students of Tripura community.
