Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) has started selling products at subsidized prices on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan in Moulvibazar.

District Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan inaugurated this program with the full cooperation of Moulvibazar district administration and upazila administration on Wednesday. At that time Moulvibazar District Police Superintendent Mohammad Zakaria, Additional District Commissioner (General) Prabhanshu Som Mahan and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Sharif Uddin were present. Cardholder consumers can buy a maximum of one kg of sugar at the rate of Tk 60. Buyers can buy lentils at the rate of Tk 70 per two kg, edible oil at the rate of Tk 110 per liter up to 2 liters, chickpeas at the rate of Tk 50 per kg and only for Dhaka city at the rate of Tk 100 maximum one kg of dates.
