Distribution of one-time grant checks to tea workers at Srimangal

One time grant money has been distributed among 616 tea workers in Srimangal of Moulvibazar.
On Wednesday (March 14), upazila administration and upazila social service office organized a one-time financial donation check among the tea workers funded by the National Social Welfare Committee. A donation check of 30 lakh 80 thousand rupees has been distributed to 616 tea workers at 5 thousand rupees per person.
Shrimangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun was present as the chief guest in the donation check distribution ceremony, Member of Parliament of Moulvibazar-4 constituency. Md. Abdus Shaheed. Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanulal Roy was present as a special guest in the ceremony.
Upazila Awami League President Ardhendu Kumar Deb, Srimangal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Jahangir Hossain Sardar, Upazila Vice Chairman Haji Mohammad Liton Ahmed, UP Chairman Ranendra Prasad Vardhan Jahar, Vijay Bunarji, Debashish Deb. Local Awami League, Chhatra League, Jubo League leaders and tea workers leaders were also present in the ceremony.
