Kiev and its partners aim to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict this year. Yuri Sak, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, said this on Friday local time. News from Interfax-Ukraine.

According to this Ukrainian media, Yuri Sak said – at the beginning of the conflict, the armed forces of Ukraine had about 2 million soldiers, but now the country has built a powerful army, which has about 1 million soldiers. With which it is possible to defeat Moscow this year.

Speaking at the Ukraine-France Forum, Saak said, “Our goal will be to ensure the end of this war on Ukrainian territory this year.”

He urged Ukraine’s partners to believe that Ukraine is capable and in a position to defeat the enemy this year.

Incidentally, the war in Ukraine started on February 24 last year. There is no sign of stopping yet. Meanwhile, the Moscow army is fighting fiercely to occupy Bakhmut. And Ukraine has become desperate to protect it.
