National Disaster Preparedness Day-2023 was celebrated in Srimangal with the theme of ‘Smart Bangladesh, Disaster Preparedness Always’.

On Friday (March 10) at 10 am, a rally, exercise and discussion meeting was organized by Srimangal Ujela Administration Disaster Management and Relief Department.

The rally came out from the premises of the Upazila Parishad and circled various roads. Later, a discussion meeting was organized in the conference room of the upazila administration.
Chairman of Srimangal Upazila Parishad Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun. Upazila Engineer Yusuf Hossain Khan, Fire Service Srimangal Station Incharge Abu Taher, Upazila Project Implementation Office Sub-Assistant Engineer Shariful Islam, Kalapur Union Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha MA Matlib, Project Implementation Office Office Assistant Md. Aminul Islam and others were present.
