At least eight people, including the gunman, have been killed in a shooting at a church in Hamburg, Germany. Seven others were injured in this incident. The gun attack happened around 9 pm local time on Thursday (March 9). News from CNN.

Hamburg police in the north of the country say the incident took place in a church on the Diebuga road in the Große Borste district of the city. 17 people who were present at the event were rescued unharmed from the accident site.

It is known that the policemen heard a gunshot above the church. After that he went there and saw a dead body lying there. That person is believed to be the attacker.

Meanwhile, after the attack, the police have strengthened security at the scene and surrounding areas. Residents are advised to stay at home. The local police have cordoned off the scene and declared it ‘dangerous’.

However, the police could not tell the reason for this attack. The surrounding roads and shops have been ordered to remain closed until the situation is brought under control.
