An anti-corruption exchange meeting was held on the initiative of Duprak at Srimangal

Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee (DUPRAC), the social organization of anti-corruption government institution Corruption Prevention Commission (ACC), has continued the anti-corruption exchange meeting at the initiative of Srimangal.
On Tuesday (March 7) at 11 am, an exchange meeting was held with the elected representatives, entrepreneurs, secretaries and other local people of Kalighat Union No. 8 of the upazila.
Pranesh Goyal, Chairman of No. 8 Kalighat Union Parishad presided over the anti-corruption exchange with the slogan “Say No to Corruption”. Upazila UPAC president senior journalist Syed Nesar Ahmed, vice president A. N. M. Wahiduzzaman and senior member journalist Md. Kawshar Iqbal.
UP Secretary Sanjay Naik, Member Md. Abdus Sattar, Md. Idris Ali, Arun Chaja, Anil Tantabay, Women Member Mitu Roy and Local Family Planning Inspector Md. Kamal Mia spoke in the open discussion meeting.
All UP members, leaders of local community clinics, dignitaries of the area and service recipients were present in the exchange meeting. The speakers said that there is no scope or opportunity for corruption in the tea garden area. And now in the digital era there is no opportunity for irregularities and corruption. However, to reach digital services to people, better internet connectivity and skilled people are needed. However, local UP members complained that they were being subjected to irregularities and corruption by the tea estate authorities. They want a remedy.
