3 people died in a head-on collision with a BGB bus in Laguna

Three people were killed in a head-on collision with a Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) bus in Laguna. 4 more people were injured in this incident.
The accident took place on Saturday (March 4) around 9:30 am on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway at Jangalia border gate area of Lohagara’s Chunti Union.
The deceased are the son of Abul Bashar of Kalatali area of Harbang Ward 9 of Chakaria Upazila. Hamidullah (29), Jahangir Alam (25) son of Lal Mia of the same area and Nazrul Islam (34) son of Danu Mia of North Harbang Karamhuri Para.
Eyewitnesses said that there was a head-on collision between the BGB bus headed for Cox’s Bazar and the Laguna traveling in the opposite direction. 3 people were killed on the spot. The casualties were all Laguna passengers.
Rubel Alam, Station Officer of Lohagara Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, said that after receiving the information, they quickly went to the spot and recovered the bodies of the three victims. Four injured people have been sent to the rescue hospital.
