School student Fahad murder case transferred to CID

After various dramas of railway police in Srimangal, finally the death of popular school student Fahad of Srimangal was assigned to CID as a murder case on the orders of the court. Earlier, this case was filed by the Railway Police as a case of murder on the orders of Senior Judicial Magistrate M Michbaur Rahman of Moulvibazar Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
According to railway police sources, on February 20, he ordered the officer-in-charge of Srimangal Railway Police and the court mentioned in the order that according to the rules, the FIR should be filed and the case number, date and report should be sent to the court on February 28.
In the order, Superintendent of Police Moulvibazar Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating the entire incident and submitting a report for justice and fair investigation.
It should be noted that on October 12 last year at approximately 6 am, fire service workers from the side of the railway line in the Shahibagh area of Srimangal town, resident of the West Karyaura area of the upazila. Fazlur Rahman’s son Fahad Rahman Marjan (17) was rescued in critical condition and taken to Upazila Health Complex where he died. In this incident, GRP police filed a case of death in Srimangal Railway Police Station. He took the SSC exam last year from Shah Mustafa Jamia Islamia High School in the city, after which he cleared the exam when the result came out.
Srimangal GRP Police OC Safiul Islam Patwari and Investigation Officer SI Molla Selimuzzaman did not arrest the accused for unknown reasons despite the investigation and investigation.
In this regard, Fahad’s father Fazlur Rahman accused the investigation officer and OC of Railway Police and said that from the beginning, those two officers tried to continue the matter of his son’s death as non-death. He applied to the new investigative agency CID to investigate these matters and find out the real killers of his son. When contacted in this regard, the Railway Police admitted the matter of the court and said that according to the court’s order, the case of Fahad’s death has been registered as a murder case and all the work has been completed as per the court’s order.
