Zaker ALi Shuva: Livestock exhibition inaugurated at Kumarkhali in Kushtia. The exhibition was organized by the Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) under the Department of Fisheries and Livestock and implemented by the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital authorities. An exhibition was held at Kumarkhali JN Secondary School ground organized by Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital on Saturday 25th February at 12 noon. Barrister Salim Altaf George, Member of Parliament for Kushtia-4 Constituency, inaugurated the exhibition with the theme “Smart Livestock Smart Bangladesh”. Under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Md. Amirul Arafat, the special guest at the event was Municipal Mayor Md. Shamsuzzaman Arun. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Saidur Rahman, etc. Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Md. Noore Alam Siddiqui conducted the event. Domestic and foreign cows, goats, sheep, different species of birds, ducks, chickens, pigeons, grasses, pesticides, etc. are displayed in 30 stalls of the livestock exhibition.
