Dhaka has once again topped the list of polluted cities. Air quality has deteriorated to hazardous levels this morning. The capital city tops IQ Air’s list with a score of 335. India’s Delhi is next in this list with a score of 258.
This information was obtained from the website of IQ Air, the organization that monitors the quality of weather around the world, at 9 am on Friday (February 17).
It can be seen that Pakistan’s Lahore is in the next place with a score of 213. Afghanistan’s Kabul is in fourth place with a score of 188. In fifth place is Kolkata, India, with a score of 187.
It is followed by Beijing in China, Mumbai in India, Hanoi in Vietnam, Wuhan in China and Kampala in Uganda respectively.
Earlier, the air in Dhaka was unhealthy or very unhealthy throughout the winter (December and January). Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, topped the list of polluted air almost every day.
A total of 99 cities of the world have been kept in 6 categories in that list of IQ Air. The worst position on that list is dangerous. A city with a score of more than 301 is classified as dangerous. Dhaka is in that position today.
