A group of scoundrels injured three members of the same family, including a school girl, over a trivial incident in Noabad village of Lashkarpur union of Habiganj Sadar upazila. They were admitted to Sadar Modern Hospital with serious injuries. There is tension about this incident. Locals said that unpleasant incidents can happen at any time.

This incident happened yesterday Thursday around 5 pm. Matlib Mia’s wife Syeda Khatun (55), her daughter Rima Akhtar (15), a student of class 8 of a local school, and son Hriday Ahmed (18) have been admitted to Sadar Hospital.

It is known that Rima had an argument with Mujibur Rahman Sohag, son of deceased Mannar Ali of the same village, about an unknown incident. At one point Sohag, along with his brothers Ruhel and Siraj Mia, a group of men attacked, vandalized and looted Rima Akhter’s house with indigenous weapons. At one point they were beaten and injured.
