In order to observe the Great Martyr’s Day and International Mother Language Day-2023 with due dignity, a preparatory meeting was held in the conference room of Kumarkhali Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Bitan Kumar Mandal of Kushtia district at 10:30 am on Tuesday in the organization of upazila administration.
It was informed in the meeting, on the occasion of the Great Martyr’s Day and International Mother Language Day, wreaths will be formally offered at the Shahid Minar of Kumarkhali JN High School ground on February 21st at 12:00 am. At sunrise, the national flag will be flown at half-mast in all government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings and government agencies.
In the meeting, Dr. Md. Akul Uddin, Health and Family Planning Officer, Upazila Health Complex Kumarkhali, Md Amirul Arafat, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kumarkhali, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Marina Akar Meena, Agriculturist Debashish Kumar Das, Upazila Agriculture Officer, Mohammad Ali, Upazila Social Service Officer, Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer, Officials of various government departments, representatives of socio-cultural organizations along with heroic freedom fighters participated.
