Dr. Education Minister called for a constructive discussion on the quality and purpose of the new curriculum without spreading misinformation. Dipu Moni said that the quality and purpose of the new curriculum is being suppressed due to lies and propaganda.

He said these things in response to questions from journalists after the inauguration of Sheikh Kamal Inter-School and Madrasah Athletics Competition at Chandpur Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Education Minister said that there is so much talk about the curriculum, most of which are lies. Where there are mistakes, of course I have corrected and will do so. Where mistakes are identified, they will be corrected. But the lies and propaganda that are going on are being done on purpose. A group is behind the issue without getting any more issues against the Sheikh Hasina government.

From now on those who write books, the sources from which they take the information must be mentioned, the minister said, no source is ever written in any book. And if you have written from somewhere, it is a general rule to acknowledge gratitude.

He said, now there is a lot of awareness among people. So I hope, from now on, those who write books – if any information is taken, they will mention the source.
