SM Humayun Kabir: Director General of BGB Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan NDCP SC inspected the Rohingya camp and Tumbru BOP in Ghumdhum Union of Naikhongchari Upazila of Bandarban.

On Thursday, he visited Tumbru Konarpara Rohingya camp between border pillars 34-35.

On January 18, the Rohingya camp was completely gutted due to arson following the ongoing bloody clash between the Arsas and RSO groups.

During the visit, Commander of Cox’s Bazar 34 BGB, Lt. Col. Mohammad Saiful Islam Saif, gave a brief about the Rohingya camp and the ongoing situation at Konar Para Rohingya camp in Tumbru BOP.

Later he attended a midday meal with the soldiers.

After the inspection, the BGB Director General left for Ramu sector via Ghumdhum road, according to sources.
