Journalist M Muslim Chowdhury’s elder brother Mukit is no more, burial completed

The funeral and burial of Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury Mukit, office secretary of Moulvibazar’s Srimangal Press Club, elder brother of journalist M Muslim Chowdhury, prominent businessman of Srimangal, president of Srimangal-Shamshernagar Bus Owner Association and former president of National Labor League Srimangal Upazila branch, has been completed.
On Friday (January 27), the funeral prayers of businessman, politician, cultural worker and social worker Mostafizur Rahman were completed at Srimangal Central Jama Masjid. Political figures of different upazilas of Moulvibazar district, prominent business leaders, social, cultural workers, transport workers leaders and journalists participated in the funeral prayers.
It is to be noted that Shamshernagar-Srimangal Bus Owners Association President and former Sramik League leader Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury Mukit passed away at Moulvibazar Life Line Hospital yesterday at 10:30 pm while undergoing treatment. Inna Allahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun. Earlier, he was suffering from cirrhosis of the liver and was receiving treatment from Apollo in Chennai. 15 days ago, when his physical condition suddenly deteriorated, he was admitted to the ICU at BRB Hospital in Dhaka. There, the doctors examined and declared both his kidneys damaged. After that, he was brought to Moulvibazar for kidney dialysis. Then on January 21, he was being treated in ICU at Moulvibazar Life Line Medical in a critical condition. Yesterday, January 27, the situation worsened. At one point, he died on Thursday at 10:30 pm under medical condition. After the funeral, his burial was completed at Baitul Aman Jame Masjid graveyard on Kalighat Road in the suburbs.
