BNP protest rally was held in Gaibandha demanding implementation of 10 points to restore democracy including resignation of government, dissolution of parliament.

The rally was held in front of the party office on the initiative of Gaibandha district BNP on Wednesday (January 25).

District BNP President Professor Dr. Under the chairmanship of Mainul Hasan Sadiq and moderated by General Secretary Mahamudunnabi Titul, District BNP Vice President Shahiduzzaman Shahid, Morshed Habib Sohel, Shamchul Hasan Shamchul, Joint Secretary Md. Ilyas Hossain, Organizing Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Babu, Advocate Manzoor Morshed Babu, Anichur Rahman Nadeem, District Youth Dal President Ragib Hasan Chowdhury, Chhatra Dal District President Khandaker Zakaria Jim, District Mahila Dal President Farida Yasmin Shobha, Krishak Dal General Secretary Mostak Ahmed Mosta etc.

The speakers said that they demanded the resignation of the corrupt, anti-fascist government, annulment of the illegal parliament, elections under a non-partisan neutral caretaker government, the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the royal prisoners, reduction in the prices of electricity, gas, essential commodities, and the restoration of democracy on the day of killing democracy.
