Dhaka/
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called on the opposition parties to find out the government’s failures. Addressing Jatiya Party Member of Parliament Fakhrul Imam, the Prime Minister said, “If you work with integrity, why should you fail?” People will check what is success and what is failure. It is not my responsibility to verify.
The prime minister said these things in response to a supplementary question by Jatiya Party member of parliament Fakhrul Imam during the question and answer session of the Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday.
Speaker before this. The meeting of Parliament started under the chairmanship of Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury. Then in the question and answer session, this member of Parliament of Jatiya Party called the Prime Minister successful in all fields and wanted to know his failures.
In response, the Prime Minister said, “Why should I fail if I work with honesty and specific goals considering the welfare of the people?” People will judge where success and failure. When you (the questioner) are so interested, find out my failures yourself. I will correct it.
The Prime Minister said, I have been involved in politics since childhood. I also did politics in college. I was a VP. Worked as member of Dhaka University branch committee of Chhatra League. Politics is in our family, blood. But I never thought I would have to take such a big responsibility. There was no such desire. Never even made such a claim. When the time required, I did the work that was given. After ’75 when Awami League was given responsibility; Especially when I went to London in 1980, I worked to strengthen Awami League there.
Referring to the incident of returning to the country in 1981, Sheikh Hasina said, it is not a matter of success or failure. Truth must be established. Bangladesh should be developed and prosperous. The fate of the people of the country must be changed.

Even if the elders know the radical change between Bangladesh 14 years ago and today’s Bangladesh, today’s generation will not know.
