Brazil beat Argentina for the second time in a row

Brazil defeated arch-rivals Argentina by 3-1 in the group stage match of CONMEBOL U-20 Championship. Selesaora got the second win in a row with this. The match will be played on Tuesday (January 24) at 6:30 am in Colombia.
Brazil got a 2-0 lead in the first half of the match. However, Argentina could not use the opportunity to reduce the gap from the penalty. In the 87th minute of the second half, Brazil increased the gap by scoring from the penalty spot. Guillermo Biru, Andre Santos and Vitor Roque scored for Brazil. Maxi Gonzalez scored the only goal for Argentina.
Argentina have a chance to go to the next round even if they lose. If Argentina wins the next two matches and Colombia, Paraguay and Brazil lose their respective matches, Argentina will have a chance to advance to the next round.
Brazil came second in the table with 6 points from Group A. Paraguay is at the top of the table with 7 points from 2 wins and 1 draw after playing one more match. Colombia is third in the table with 4 points from 2 matches, 1 win and 1 draw. Argentina is in fourth position.
A total of 6 teams, three from each group, will advance to the next group stage. The best of those 6 teams will be the champions. Each team will play a total of four matches. Paraguay and Colombia have played three matches. On the other hand, Argentina and Brazil played 2 each.
Argentina will play their next match against Peru on January 26. The match will start at 4 am Bangladesh time. And they will play the last match against Colombia on January 28 at 6:30 am.
