A cycle rally was held in Gaibandha under the slogan ‘Stop fossil fuels and renewable energy is the solution to the climate crisis’.

On Tuesday (January 17) afternoon, climate and environmentalist organization ‘Youthnet for Climate Justice’ Gaibandha team members organized this bicycle rally. The bicycle rally started from Gaibandha Municipal Park and circled the main main road of the city and ended at Municipal Park.

In the rally, Gaibandha Municipal Council Panel Mayor Mohammad Shahid Mia, Gaibandha District Rover Secretary Dhiresh Chakraborty, Youthnet for Climate Justice Divisional Coordinator Maruf Mia, District Co-Coordinator Md. Members of the organization including Ayakil Ahmed Zayed participated.

The organizers said that this cycle rally was organized to raise awareness for clean air and renewable energy, to make the public aware of electricity wastage.
