Habiganj Representative/

One person died in fire in Ajmiriganj of Habiganj and one more person died in Chunarughat wall crush.

These two incidents happened separately on Tuesday (January 17) morning.

The police recovered the bodies of the victims and sent them to Habiganj 250-bed modern district headquarters morgue for post-mortem.

It is known that a person named Jabed Mia (40) died in a fire in Ghardair village of Ajmiriganj upazila early in the morning. When the house caught fire, he was burnt while sleeping and died on the spot. On receiving information, the police recovered the body and sent it to Habiganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

On the other hand, a carpenter named Subhash Chandra Debnath (40) of Shankhala village of Chunarughat upazila of the district was injured while working on the wall. He was seriously injured when he was taken to Habiganj 250-bed Modern District Headquarters Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Two such incidents cast a shadow of mourning on the area.
