After BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the party’s standing committee member Mirza Abbas has also been admitted to the hospital. BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed that the BNP leader was admitted to the hospital on Sunday (January 15) afternoon.

He said that newly released BNP standing committee member and former mayor of undivided Dhaka, former minister Mirza Abbas has been admitted to Evacare Hospital in the capital.

Shamsuddin Didar also said that Mirza Abbas’ heartbeat became irregular after he was released from prison. Cough and shortness of breath also increase. At the same time, he (Mirza Abbas) was admitted to the hospital around 2.30 pm due to increased urinary problems.

Dr. Mirza Abbas is currently a doctor at the hospital. He said that Shahabuddin was under treatment under Talukdar.
