67 of the 72 passengers died in the plane crash in Nepal

A Yeti Airlines plane with 72 passengers has crashed in Nepal’s Pokhara. The accident happened on Sunday (January 15) morning local time. The plane crashed in Pokhara in Kaski district. Officials have confirmed the death of 67 people so far in the accident. News-BBC
Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula said the plane caught fire while landing. A total of 68 passengers and four crew members were on board the crashed plane.
He also said that there are 10 foreign nationals among the passengers in the plane.
A rescue team has already reached the accident site and started rescue work. The army members of the country have joined the rescue work.
After the accident, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal called an emergency meeting of his cabinet. He also called upon the state agencies to participate in the rescue operation.
