Abdullah Al Mamun: Various training courses have been inaugurated and allowances and certificates have been distributed among the trainees organized by the district office of Youth Development Department in Chapainawabganj.

Deputy Commissioner AKM Ghaliv Khan inaugurated various training courses as the chief guest in the hall of Youth Development Department district office at 11 am on Tuesday. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Agriculture Ahmed Mahbub-ul-Islam was present as a special guest in the program under the chairmanship of Md. Abdul Mannan, Deputy Director of Youth Development Department Chapainawabganj District Office.

After that, the chief guest said in his speech that the present government is working relentlessly for the development of youth society. Government through this Youth Development Department has launched various programs to train the unemployed youth and motivate them to work. At the rate that educated boys and girls are coming out every year, the unemployed youth are not getting any jobs to keep up with them. So the alternative means is this Directorate of Youth Development.

After the discussion, the Deputy Commissioner distributed allowances among the trainees of various training courses.

Deputy Director Md. Abdul Mannan said that 6 training courses on computer basic and ICT applications, clothing making, Electrical & House Wiring, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Commercial Cattle & Poultry Rearing, first aid, fisheries and agriculture were inaugurated in today’s event.

In addition, 70 trainees of 4 training courses on garment making, modern office management and computer applications, fisheries and vehicle driving were distributed training allowance of 3 lakh Tk on the occasion.

The program was conducted by Assistant Director of Youth Development Department District Office Md. Mizanur Rahman and Community Development Officer Md. Sarwar Hossain.

At the end, Deputy Coordinator of District Office of Youth Development Department Md. Monirul Islam announced the vote of thanks and the program was closed.
