The schedule of bi-annual election 2023 of the traditional Srimangal Press Club of Moulvibazar district has been announced.

On Monday (January 9) at 11:30 am, Election Commissioner Upazila Social Service Officer Soeb Hossain Chowdhury announced the biennial election schedule of the organization in the hall room of Srimangal Press Club.

According to the announced schedule, the traditional Srimangal Press Club biennial election 2023 will be held on January 30. Accordingly, the candidates participating in the election can purchase nomination papers from the election commissioner’s upazila social service office on January 11 from 11 am to 4 pm.

The time for submission of nomination papers is January 12 from 11 am to 2 pm.

Selection of nomination papers on January 12 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Withdrawal of candidature on January 15 from 11 am to 2 pm. The Election Commissioner will publish the final list of candidates at 4 pm on the same day.

The club’s bi-annual election will be held on January 30 from 11 am to 2 pm. On the occasion of the bi-annual elections of the traditional Srimangal Press Club, great enthusiasm was observed among the press club members. Although the total number of members of Srimangal Press Club is 38, as two members are staying outside the country, 36 members will exercise their voting rights and form an executive committee consisting of 15 members.
