6 solar batteries stolen from hospital in Habiganj, 4 recovered
Habiganj Representative/
Habiganj’s newly constructed 10-storey 250-bed hospital has become a sanctuary for criminals. Government valuables are being stolen due to lack of security. Apart from this, drug addicts with various anti-social activities can be seen on the ground floor of the hospital in the evening. Due to this, the patients and relatives who come to the hospital and even the nurses are in a state of panic. However, it is said that a hospital syndicate is involved in these activities. Recently, the police arrested several scoundrels and drug addicts from the ground floor of the hospital and sent them to court. After that the crime stopped for some time. The cycle has become very reckless lately. Miscreants took 6 batteries of solar power from the dengue ward of the hospital on January 5 night. After that, the hospital administration was shaken. To save their lives, they started searching in different places. At one point, 4 batteries were recovered from a garage in Inatabad. But two batteries are still missing. Several doctors of the hospital said that this happened due to lack of security. In addition, if there is a ghost among the crops, then who will chase the ghost? Many staff are deputizing for their duties. Maybe someone from the hospital could be involved in this theft.
In this regard, Aminul Islam Sarkar said that they have a shortage of manpower. All this is happening due to lack of security. The police have been informed. The battery was recovered. Legal action will be taken in this regard.
