Police have arrested two professional drug dealers in Dharmapasha of Sunamganj along with consignment of foreign liquor.

On Thursday (December 29) afternoon, they were arrested along with the liquor shipment from the road adjacent to Kangsh river bridge in the upazila.

The arrested are the son of the deceased Gholam Mustafa of Jararkona village of Sukhair Rajapur Uor Einyon of the upazila. Ali is Jhilik Mia son of deceased Ambar Ali of the same village.

OC of Dharmapasha police station Mohammad Mizanur Rahman said that a team of police patrolling under the leadership of SI Abdus Sabur of the police station arrested professional drug dealers on Thursday afternoon from the road adjacent to the Kangsh river bridge. Ali Zhelik was arrested. At that time, a 100 cc unregistered motorcycle and 22 bottles of foreign liquor were seized from their use.
