In the new year, the education minister said that the new curriculum is being launched in the first and second grade in the primary and in the sixth and seventh grade in the secondary school. Deepu Moni. He informed this information at a function of Chandpur Press Club on Friday.
The minister said that new books will be given. As we are changing the curriculum, we have made experimental versions of these class books. He said that many changes are being made in the education system compared to before. There has been a massive change in how teaching is done, how assessment is done. For this, the entire year 2023, the first and second class and the sixth and seventh class books will be experimental editions.
Stating that the mistakes in the textbooks are decreasing, Dipu Moni said, although there were many mistakes in some books in the past, we have corrected them. Hopefully, there will be no mistakes in the new book this year. Still if any mistake remains, it will be corrected immediately.
Chandpur Press Club members were present on the occasion. At the beginning, the education minister welcomed the president and general secretary of the new committee with flowers. Apart from this, he distributed checks for the allocated amount of Journalist Welfare Fund among the sick journalists.
Meanwhile, the Education Minister spoke as the chief guest at the two-day international conference on ‘Electrical, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering’ organized at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Technology of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on Friday. He joined the event virtually at Ruet Auditorium. Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Technology. Professor Sajjad Hossain, Member of University Grants Commission, and Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park, gave speeches as special guests in the conference under the chairmanship of Nazrul Islam Mandal.
