100 tubewells have been distributed among poor families to solve water problems under the initiative of social organization Muslim Hands in Srimangal of Moulvibazar district.
On Wednesday (December 28) at noon in the hall room of Srimangal Sadar Union, the installation of 100 shallow tube wells was inaugurated by Muslim Hands International under the overall supervision of Country Manager Maulana Gufran Ahmad Chowdhury Fultali.
Fuad Ahmed Taif, Regional Program Officer of Muslim Hands International was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Sadar Union Chairman Md. Dudhu Mia presided over the event as special guests were Maulana Kazi Md. Abdul Mushabbir, Inspector of Darul Qirat Majidiya Fultali Trust, President of Srimangal Upazila Al Islah and retired Superintendent of Dobagaon Bahrul Uloom Dakhil Madrasa Alhaj Md. Mujibur Rahman Al Madani, Latifia Qari Society Srimangal Upazila President Maulana Kazi Md Nashir Uddin, Latifia Qari Society Srimangal Upazila General Secretary and former UP member of Ashidron Union Maulana Md Abdul Ahad, Srimangal Paur Al Islah General Secretary ABM Shamsuddoha, Progressive Life Insurance Sylhet Division’s GM-H. M. Yakub Chowdhury, Inspector Hafiz Mao Kamrul Hasan Imran of Yakubia Hifuzul Quran Board, Union Parishad members and Al Islah Talamiz leaders along with the beneficiary family members were present.
Note that the Muslim Hands organization was established in 1993 in the United Kingdom. Its activities started in Bangladesh in 1995 under the supervision of the famous saint Kamil Hazrat Allama Imad Uddin Chowdhury Fultali. Since then, at various times in the service of humanity, Arta has been conducting various service activities including building houses for the poor in different areas, installing deep tube wells, providing food aid to the helpless and poor people during various calamities.
