A person has died after being hit by a car in Madhavpur on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

On Sunday (December 25) evening, Fazal Mia (50) was seriously injured after being hit by an unknown vehicle at a place called Bejura in the upazila. Later, his elder brother Sulaiman Mia confirmed that Fazal Mia died on the way to the hospital.

The deceased is the son of deceased Taleb Hossain of Bezura village of Fazal Mia upazila.
