ACC case against BNP leader Amir Khosru’s wife and 5 people

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and five people including his wife.
Apart from Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, the remaining accused in the case are his wife Tahera Khosru Alam, Golam Sarwar, Sabera Sarwar (Neena), Aurangzeb Nannu.
On Monday, Anti-Corruption Commission head office Dhaka deputy director Selina Akhtar filed the case as the plaintiff.
According to the ACC sources, the accused bought plot number 25 along with that plot in the name of developing plot number 27 of road number 17 of Banani area owned by the Chittagong Stock Exchange. There, by constructing 22-storey and 21-storey buildings on both the plots without complying with the design, they managed the five-star hotel Sarina in ltd. A case has been registered against the accused under section 409/109/467/468/471/420 of the Penal Code.
